Real line up new wonderkid!

Real Madrid are looking into the idea of signing Marcelo Vieira Da Silva Junior, who currently plays for Fluminense, He scored on his debut for Brazil against Wales. He has been widely tipped to be the next Roberto Carlos.

Reports suggest Real will pay £4.3 million and Marcelo will sign a 7 year contract. There is talk about him joining in the January transfer window, but it is believed that he will make his move at the end of the current season.

With Roberto nearing the end of his career the timing could not be better for Real Madrid to bring in the young Marcelo, who would benefit from being in the presence of the great Brazilian maestro.
