Nakaaaaa.....mura what? I'll have one please!

If Man Utd ever needed a wake up call last night, it was Shunsuke Nakamura’s amazing 81st-minute free-kick that gave Celtic the opening and only goal of the match. Saha missed a penalty that would have almost guaranteed his team a place in the next stage of the competition, after Celtic keeper Artur Boruc made the save of all saves to send Parkhead on an ecstasy trip they will never forget. Final score1-0 to Celtic, this game will go down in the history books as one of Celtic’s greatest victories ever. You go boys!

So I ask my self one question who is this Shunsuke Nakamura and was his goal fluke? Let me see if I can answer these questions.

Nakamura is a playmaking midfielder usually employed by Celtic on the right hand side of midfield. He had previously been positioned in the centre or on the left hand side of the pitch, since he is left-footed.
He is known for his vision and touch, as well as being a free-kick specialist. Gordon Strachan rates him as one of if not the best free free-kick specialist in the world today.

He can create scoring opportunities for his teammates but is also more than capable of scoring himself. His former coach Steve Perryman has remarked that Nakamura is so talented that he "could open a tin of beans with his left foot"

Nakamura's ability to create opportunities for team mates and unlock defenses, as well as his accurate direct free kicks has made him a key player for his club and country. If Nakamura keeps on producing displays like last night it would be only a matter of time before we see this lad in the Premiership, Lets hope he signs for one of the emerging club like Portsmouth, where he would be guaranteed regular first team football.

Raging Bull Or Wonderkid?

Love him or hate him Wanye Rooney is one of the greatest emerging talents to come out of England in a long time, he has been compared to some of the greats in the game. But if he is ever to become a true Legend of the wonderful game of football, he is going to have to learn how to curb his temper.

Talented, goal scoring machine is no longer the first things that come to people’s minds when you mention the name "Wanye Rooney" it is more likely Hot Headed, ill-disciplined, I could go on forever.

The one thing I ask of the Mr Rooney is please "think before you act!" Lets see medals not red card going forward. In case you have forgotten football is a game in which two teams of 11 players try to kick or head a ball into the opponents' goal.

Jeffrey Ntuka performances has helped KVC Westerlo maintain their grip on fourth spot in the Belgian League.

Is Alan Pardews head on the "Block"?

With only two wins from the last twelve games and only 5 goals scored so far this season is the writing on the wall for Alan Pardew. Pardew has come under fire after seeing West Ham through their worst run of defeats in over 70 years With West Ham playing away against Chelsea the pressure could never be more on Pardew, is it time for West Ham to say enough is enough and bring in some fresh managerial blood to help the hammers return to winning. Lets Hope Pardew digs deep into his wealth of talent that he has at his disposal and turn around West Hams woes and return them to the force they where last year.

Spurs 2, Chelsea 1

Tottenham came back from a goal down to earn their first league win over Chelsea since 1990, thanks to an impressive goal from Aaron Lennon. The visitors took the lead when Claude Makelele fired in a superb volley.
Michael Dawson brought Spurs back into the match with a well-placed header before Lennon capitalised on Robbie Keane's good work with a crisp finish. Chelsea were reduced to 10 men when John Terry picked up a second booking over an incident with Pascal Chimbonda.

The result leaves the Blues three points behind Premiership leaders Manchester United.

However, both Chelsea and Tottenham produced some outstanding football on a chilly day under the floodlights of White Hart Lane. Until midway though the first half it was Chelsea who played the champagne stuff, while Spurs - who had last beaten Chelsea at home in the league in 1987 - looked on enviously.

Paul Robinson's goal was under siege early in the half and Robben was guilty of not making the most of Spurs' fragility when he dallied on a through-ball, allowing Ledley King to make a vital interception.
The resulting corner was cleared but only as far as Makelele. The holding midfielder is not renowned as a potent threat to goal but, on this occasion, he connected beautifully with a volley from outside the area.
It left Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho grinning from ear to ear, most probably out of bemusement at having watched such a rare event.

The immediate aftermath saw the Blues tear Spurs apart, with Michael Ballack forcing a save from Robinson with a low, drilled free-kick before Frank Lampard made his England colleague tip over the bar following his stinging shot.
So when Dawson's goal came, it not only revived the home team's spirits but also swung the game their way.
Dimitar Berbatov, whose form has been as inconsistent as his side's after joining in the close season, almost put Tottenham into the lead but his mazy run and shot trickled just wide of Henrique Hilario's left-hand post.
And just before the break Lennon provided a stunning cross from the right that was met by Keane, who headed on to the top netting.

If the crowd thought the first half was eventful, then they had a treat in store in the second.
With seven minutes of the half gone, Keane dazzled substitute Khalid Boulahrouz, who came on for Paulo Ferreira, and fired in a great cross into the area that was controlled and then coolly finished by the diminutive Lennon.
It was fantastic technique from the England star and was just reward for his valiant work.
Chelsea began to look more desperate as Spurs grew in confidence and that anxiety resulted in fouls committed.
For the Blues this proved costly when Terry was shown his second yellow and sent off for what seemed like an altercation with Chimbonda. Chelsea still pressed and were unlucky not to see Arjen Robben's curled effort fly in instead of rebound off Robinson's right-hand upright. Frank Lampard and Salomon Kalou also went close but Spurs held on for a famous win.

The New Ronaldinho?

Ibrahim Yattara (born 3 June 1980) is a Guinean footballer playing for Turkish team Trabzonspor. Ibrahim Yattara began his career in Guinea with the team San Garedi. He moved on to Atletico Coleah, another Guinean club before embarking on his career in Europe. He joined Antwerp FC in Belgium in 2001 and was used primarily on the right side of midfield. He failed to make much of a mark in the team, but his talent was spotted by a scout from the Turkish side Trabzonspor.
Yattara joined the team from Trabzon in 2003. He immediately excited the fans with his talent and creativity on the right wing. However, he has proved to be equally infuriating for some of the Trabzonspor coaches with his inconsistency and sometimes lazy attitude. His talent is without question, on his night he is one of the best players in Turkey. On some nights, he is barely noticeable.
Despite the dark side to his game, he is immensely popular with the Trabzonspor fans. He is also regarded as one of the best foreign players in Turkey. His close ball control and pinpoint crosses make him a threat to opposition defenders, as well as his ability to score goals. In his first season at the club Yattara ended up as with the most assists in the Turkish league, despite being on the bench for a large number of games. He has continued to improve his game but remains somewhat of an enigma. Many people believe that he has the capability to become one of the best players in Europe.
